Water with a pause
Feel the top of the soil. Most houseplants prefer a slight dry-down between drinks. Empty saucers so roots do not sit in stale water.

Wipe large leaves gently so they can breathe. Keep plants away from hard radiator blasts and cold drafts from frequently opened doors.
